WHAT IS OUR PREACHING LIKE? 

Truth That Transforms: At Gateway, we don’t believe in watering down the message. We believe that God’s Word is most powerful when it’s delivered clearly and honestly. Our goal isn't to provide emotional entertainment or a temporary "high"—it’s to provide a foundation. We focus on teaching the Bible in a way that challenges you to change, because we’ve seen that true, lasting joy isn't something you chase; it’s a natural byproduct of living a life aligned with God’s truth.

WHAT IS OUR MUSIC LIKE? 

A Song Everyone Can Join:  We believe the most beautiful sound in the church is the voice of the congregation. Our music isn't a performance to watch—it’s a service to join. We focus on music that is "alive," blending the rich heritage of classic hymns with fresh songs of faith. By keeping our worship focused and reverent, we ensure that the message of the music stays front and center. We strive for excellence because we believe God deserves our very best, and we sing with passion because of what He has done for us.

WHAT IS OUR INVITATION?

An Opportunity to Respond: We believe that when God speaks through His Word, it invites a personal response. Every service concludes with a quiet moment for you to reflect on the message and consider how it applies to your life. Whether you are ready to make a life-changing decision to follow Christ or simply need someone to pray with you through a difficult season, our doors and hearts are open. Our pastor and the members are available to offer guidance, prayer, and support from the Scriptures.

What Should I Wear?

There is no official dress code at Gateway, but we tend to dress more traditionally for our services. Our philosophy is simple: we want to give God our best. For many of us, that means "Sunday dress," but for everyone, it’s about a heart of honour. You are welcome here exactly as you are. Our priority is to provide a refreshing, friendly environment where you can encounter God without feeling self-conscious about your attire.

Am I Expected to Give?

Not at all. We want our service to be a gift to you, not an obligation. While our church family supports the ministry through in-person giving at the front of the auditorium or via e-transfer, we don't want our guests to feel any "public" pressure. That’s why we don't pass a plate down the rows. You can simply relax and focus on the message. Our goal is for you to leave feeling refreshed and fed by God’s Word—that is the only result we’re after.

What We Offer Teens & Kids During the 11AM Service

A Note on Our Evening & Midweek Services: For our Sunday 6 PM and Wednesday 7 PM services, we invite all of our children and volunteers to join us in the main auditorium. We believe there is a unique blessing in families sitting together and children seeing their parents engage with God’s Word. This also allows our dedicated children’s workers a chance to be spiritually refreshed and encouraged by the preaching. We love the sound of a full church family—of all ages—worshiping together!

Own Your Faith: Ready for something deeper? At Gateway, we invite our teens to join us in the main service because we believe you’re ready to own your walk with God. We don’t do "boring"—we do truth. Every message is packed with practical wisdom from the Bible to help you navigate life, school, and friendships. By participating in our services, you’re not just a spectator; you’re a part of a family that is pursuing the greatest adventure of all: knowing Jesus personally. Come find your place and build a faith that lasts.

Safe & Sound: Gateway Kids

• Top-Tier Safety: Every volunteer is screened via RCMP Vulnerable Sector Checks so you can worship without worry.
  
• The Family Suite (Ages 0–3): A specialized room featuring a live service feed, toys, and changing tables. It’s perfect for parents who want to stay with their little ones without missing the message.
  
• Nursing Mothers: We provide separate, comfortable rooms designed specifically for moms and infants.
  
• Exciting Classes (Age 4–6th Grade): Age-appropriate, engaging Bible lessons that kids actually look forward to!
